    I found the roadmap for Lucee 6, but it doesn't give a tangible status update. How is it coming?

    as I have previously mentioned, our production users/releases take precedence over next release https://dev.lucee.org/t/roadmap-lucee-5-4/11541 everything we are doing for 5.4 goes into 6.0 as well, 5.4 is a quick release, then we are back on getting the 6.0 beta out

    Hi folks, I'd probably like to work on this plugin https://github.com/lucee/extension-image but a few things are turning me off, at first glance: • There are no unit tests. (I see a little CFC integration test, but no unit tests.) That would make for a very clunky development workflow. Also the lack of tests is a recipe for regressions. • Ant 🤮 • External library dependencies included in the repository (https://github.com/lucee/extension-image/tree/master/source/java/libs -- probably a side effect of not using gradle or maven). I have always had bad experiences working on projects that have this arrangement. Am I misreading things? Are other official extensions in a similar state? Is there anything on the roadmap for improving the extension development experience? (Attn: @zackster)

    Hi everyone https://github.com/Leftbower/cfspreadsheet-lucee-5/ Our organization is looking to install the following extension, but we will want to edit the bits that don't work properly yet. Is there a way we can edit code and see the result, without having to re-install the extension every time, in Lucee Admin, we make an update? If we use this extension and improve it, I will make a PR, so every one can benefit from the changes, once I have finished my current contract. Thanks Charlie

    Is there some version combination of Lucee and the image extension that works with the `webp`image format? Let's say "works" means: Image functions can read/write webp images. I'm hoping to get webp working in Lucee 5.3 because it's important to use webp in my CMS.

    Hi there - is there a non-FusionReactor way to determine the "current" requests in play? Java / Tomcat on one of my servers is pegged at 99% and I am trying to work out the cause.

    We're having issues with Lucee hanging threads: https://dev.lucee.org/t/lucee-threads-hanging-java-util-concurrent-locks-reentrantlock-fairsync/11635 I think this might be caused by LDEV-4064, but not totally sure. Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

    i am testing around with this Dockerimage: https://github.com/cybersonic/super-slim-lucee-docker/tree/main. In front i use a nginx reverse proxy (not dockerized). So far it rans very smooth but there is one problem. When i create some files trough lucee, the owner of the files is root(:root) (because of the container permissions). So there would be different options - the manual way would be to set permissions via cfexecute(“chmod”) after creating the files. But i am looking for something more fluent. I tried to run the whole Container with the ids of the site user…but his leads to different other problems inside the container. The best thing would tell lucee express to run as another user that root, but i have not found a way to do that. Maybe someone had did this before?

    First time using query of queries on lucee.
    Copy code
    var qry = queryExecute("update tags set path = :path where id = :id",{path:path, id:id}, {dbtype:"query"});
    Error in thread.

    I never really paid attention to this but when I upgraded to 5.3.10.97 it seem to crash out all the paypal payflow transactions. The values for these transactions come out of a mssql database and paypal rejects then now because they have the 4 decimals (money datatype). I could go in an change the datatype or numbeformat before being sent to paypal but it is going to be a good deal of work. Any setting I can change anywhere that would change the way ms sql is formating or lucee is formating it as of the upgrade to Lucee?

    what's the current state of things with regard to lucee step debugging? i think this is a partial list: • coldbug, which has its own site, but which i gather is a work in progress alpha: https://dev.lucee.org/t/lucee-coldbug-step-debugger/8187 • fusionreactor: i think i tried it once and had issues, but i can't remember what turned me off to it • hook up the lucee source with an IDE. i've done this several times in the last several years but each time, i've hacked the configuration from scratch because i failed to document it. i think i based it on an ancient writeup from @Mark Drew (he/him) what's the latest/greatest?

    Hello. I'm working on a migration from ACF to Lucee. The app I'm testing uses SerializeXML which is not supported by Lucee. I've tried Lucee's Serialize now I'm overflowing the stack ugh. Any ideas? Thanks
