@Ali can you investigate?
@Travis White whats the username?
maybe a broken integration
a
Yes this looks like a broken integration
t
@Peer @Ali Do you need my username? Or the user on the respective team’s username?
My username is cal.com/travwhite
Any way to fix this issue?
Hi @Peer and @Ali just following up here.
p
hey sorry i am ooo already, maybe someone else is around
lemme find someone
can you check all your integrations? maybe disconnect and reconnecz
a
Hey @Travis White, I just tried to book you and was able to, when impersonating I can see all your events as hidden (maybe you hide them after the bug) but couldn’t reproduce the -No credentials found-
I was able to book your 15min event https://cal.com/travwhite/15min?date=2022-09-12
t
@Agusti That is my personal. The bug happens on the team account
a
Oh I see, thanks!
t
Can you try here
a
Yeah I cannot book there, can reproduce the no credential found
One question though, why are you using teams as user accounts? how are the other team mates able to sync their calendars with that setup?
I guess you can sync all your calendars with one account too, but not sure if some default behaviours might affect in that case, just wondering if this could be related?
t
Perhaps I’m using it wrong. I have consultants who are contractors for our company and we offer consulting services to our community. Each consultant offers 2 different products. What’s the best way to set this up?
I tried making one team and adding all the consultants there but I need an individual link for each consultant that shows all their booking options.
a
https://app.cal.com/team/cal?members=1 as an example of how we handle it
Usually you would set up an account for each consultant, and all of them would be part of the team, and be able to have their own events, and also shared events on the team if needed
Maybe your setup is doable too, but I hadn’t seen it before
t
https://www.manneredmanes.io/consult-profile - I need these “book now” buttons to go directly to the consultants booking options, rather than go to a link that shows everyone
a
But what I mean, is
the consultant, instead of in cal.com/team/consultantname, -> cal.com/consultantname
You don’t seem to require the teams at all, if you’re not using team events
and each consultant will only be hosting their own individual events
You can still have them all part of your team for better organisation
t
Ok - how would I manage all of this from my one account?
In other words - I need to be able to manage each user, how would I do that?
I can only create event types under my name or a team name, I cannot create event types under other users
That I know of…
Perhaps this could be solved easier over a meeting/screenshare. I’m not 100% sure I am following correctly
a
You’re correct Travis, I was just discussing with @leog some possibilities but yes, in your case it seems using teams as you where was the solution right now
t
And is it possible to fix the No Credentials error?
They're not booking on my calendar they're booking on the consultants
I reinstalled but still got the same error
But it seems to be breaking after the calendar part and before payment. Could the broken integration be from Stripe?
l
Yes it could
I was trying to see the logs replicating the issue and I see Stripe entries, so it might be Stripe
I just tested the use case you set up on our dev environment where I can fake Stripe interactions and got it working as expected. Please just in case, try disconnecting Stripe and connecting it again.
t
I will try fixing it on the Stripe side
p
accepted your call on monday
z
@Peer we're in the call BTW
t
Hi @zomars I know most of you are all hands on deck for 2.0. We really want to make cal.com work, we’re looking to launch this program soon, have you found any solutions for Stripe Connect integration with Stripe Connect Express accounts?
z
Not yet @Travis White I'm afraid
t
@zomars Is there a way to solve the no credentials found issue? We don’t need to connect their Stripe Express accounts. Our main Stripe account is connected, but the error is stopping people from booking our consultants.
z
I've opened an issue to keep track of this https://github.com/calcom/cal.com/issues/4435
t
@zomars Is the cause of the error not being able to connect Stripe Express accounts? We just need the “no credentials” error to go away. We already have our standard Stripe account connected.
z
The organizer user is the one that needs the Stripe credentials. It seems that right now it only has a google calendar on it:
t
Ok - I will get them to add the Mannered Manes account to their user’s account
z
You need to add the Stripe credential to the
Justin Myers
account
t
@zomars I connected our Stripe to the user’s account and the error went away. One more question though: Is there a way for a customer to add a promo code?
Our dev brought up a security concern of adding our business’ standard Stripe account to each contractor’s user account. It opens us up to liability. So it looks like, until the cal.com hosted version supports stripe express integrations, we cannot use the PRO version, and the self-hosted is quite a bit of work for the size of our team and budget. I think we will switch to a different booking platform. But I really appreciate you guys working so hard to solve our issues. @zomars @Agusti @leog @Peer
z
We understand, we'll be here when your team grows for sure 🙏
t
Thanks, please let me know if you add the Stripe Express integration (Calendly is a pain, and I would prefer to use you guys) @zomars
