Can BAML replace POML in that I can feed tags into a LLM? For example, POML was good at doing something like the following:
Copy code
<role>You are an experienced debugger</role>
<expected-output>md file with debugging report</expected-output>
How would I do something similar to BAML? I've noticed that these sort of tags like are useful in markdown files for the LLM to structure things. If BAML cannot do this then how does it accomplish something similar?
a
so the roles are really an LLM API construct -- you can check the 'raw curl' tab in the BAML Playground. You can add tags by just adding the string yourself in the prompt if you need
so for example a role in baml is written as {{ _.role("user") }}
