Building ISO from image issue
# questions
l
I'm having trouble getting the ISO to compile from an image. I was originally trying to do it from the recipe, but that didn't work for a similar reason to here: https://discord.com/channels/1198292321037455360/1481711267075850321 Now I'm trying to build to an ISO from an image that I built and have in a private repository. I used podman login to make sure I'm authenticated, but then in the middle of building the ISO I got an authentication required error...
Copy code
g.i/j/build-container-installer:v1.4.0 => time="2026-03-13T22:06:36Z" level=fatal msg="initializing source docker://<image name>: reading manifest latest in <image name>: authentication required
This looks like it's during a Skopeo step since the log before the error is:
Copy code
skopeo copy docker://<image name> oci:<image name>

I think we'd have to pass the credentials into the container for that

Does this mean I should find another way to build the iso? Im using a cli command similar to the “solution”. I also tried using the localhost registry and that came with a whole host of problems.

Me or someone else would have to fix the bug to get it to work
