Hi, we are using bentoml to build a bento on a machine learning model(which contains some python scripts, requirements.txt files and pkl files) Bentoml version used is 1.0.10 and recently we tried upgrading the bentoml to 1.2.16 , could see bento failure with below message Exception occurred while building bento: WARNING: File size is larger than 10MiB: features.pkl Our pkl files size is around 40MB. Does latest versions of bentoml are coming with any restrictions to artifact size?. if so is there any flexibility to increase the size through any build options.? could you please help us out with the resolution. Thanks!

The above is just a warning and does not stop the build process!
k
Hi , Thank you for the response . is there any restriction or any limit is set by default?
j
no. its a warning that tells user that a large file will cause build to be slow. A mistake that we see often is that user accidentally include a virtual environment or a big model file into bento
k
so , any timeout can lead to failure ?, if so do we have any parameter that can be set to increase the timeout?
j
no, large file will not lead to failure
