We are using the self hosted as well as the hosted version of descope for our login. Is there a way to influence the layout of the hosted version. To be specific, I would like to display our companies logo on top of the box which is rendered by the hosted version.
a
Hey @Timo Pietsch you can modify the flow which your using for the hosted version and add an image component to display the logo
t
Okay but I cant show the logo outside the shadow box.
a
you mean outside this box when you render on the URL - https://api.descope.com/login/P36h9dDSgO5lW9mPpNkVYV9Nyg1w?flow=sign-up-or-in
t
yeah above the box
like this
a
ahh okay i dont think theres a way to add it above the box, because the box is rendered directly by the flow. you'll need to add the logo to the box on the top
t
Okay thanks. Also I would like to know how to make the font on the button bold
a
umm i dont think modifying font weight is supported yet. can you raise an FR for this?
t
okay i will also open one to customize the form input labels
a
yes thanks 👍
d
Wait
@Timo Pietsch You can set the font weight in the styles page, did you try that?

Regarding customizing the outer part which is not the flow, for that you will need to host the flow yourself so you can control the entire page. You can find details about that here: https://github.com/descope/auth-hosting?tab=readme-ov-file#deployment
t
but i cant change the font weigth specifically for labels and buttons
at least I dont see how
d
You can set a font family which is bold and set it to the button
Under the Components.
t
ah yeah that should work, thanks!
