Hi everyone <!channel>. We are so excited to see everyone soon for the official start of our Season 6 Competition Season! A few friendly reminders for parents: • Season kick start fees are being drafted and charged. If you would like to update your payment method from a credit/debit card to a bank payment please kindly do so before tomorrow 1:00 pm as we are processing based on the payment methods already on file • Friendly reminder that annual registration fees are $40/dancer and $50/family and will be processed at the official beginning of the season on August 17th • Reminder that class selections may begin to be made this Friday. See competition team website for full details Dancers please remember the following in preparation for choreography boot camp: • Please remember to pack your water bottles for competition team boot camp as you will be dancing for long hours! • Arrive ~15 minutes early and be sure to stretch and warm up your skills prior to rehearsal beginning. Choreographers will be jumping right into routine choreography so make sure you take the time to prepare your body for class ahead of time. If there is an open studio available feel free to use it. If no room available you may use the lounge • Please put your bags and belongings into the cabinets upstairs and do not leave them along the floor in the lounge. We struggled a little with this in Season 5 so I'm hoping we can maintain the space in the new season!🙏🏿 Updates/Changes: • I know we moved lyrical group #1 around to accommodate a scheduling conflict flagged during the release party; there has been one last conflict flagged that we are working to resolve! We have updated two of the rehearsals for lyrical group #1 once more to ensure everyone is able to make it to rehearsal. Please check the boot camp schedule posted on the website for the updated schedule. Hi everyone <!channel> ❗A few important schedule change updates for everyone❗ • Ballet I at 6:30 will be rescheduled to combine with the 7:30 class ◦ Ms. Kylie will be teaching a dance technique class during this hour. Ballet hair and attire not longer needed for today ◦ If any Ballet I dancers are unable to stay for the 7:30pm class on short notice we will excuse you from class today • Leaps & Turns III/IV will be cancelled for this evening • Hip-hop Group #2 can you all please stay an additional 30 minutes this saturday? Class time now ending 30 minutes later to take place 3:00pm - 5:00pm • Ballet IV and Pointe I tomorrow - status currently TBD. ◦ If class does take place, you will not need ballet attire and will have a dance technique class instead. Will confirm final plans soon! As always if you all can kindly react to this message once seen it helps us know the families are aware and follow up with those affect by the changes who haven't reacted 💜

I believe all 7:30 dancers are already present and on break during that time so they will simply end an hour earlier! However if I'm overlooking someone who is not already at the studio and can not make it by 6:30 please let me know and we will excuse you from class today. Ballet attire not required today • Jazz III/IV will be cancelled for today at 6:30. Leaps & Turns III/IV will still be taking place. COMPANY 6 WEBSITE UPDATE! We’ve been busy behind the scenes getting the Company 6 website updated with all finalized dates for the season! Here’s what’s new: 1. Competition + Convention Information: All competition and convention subpages are now linked and populated with the information we currently have available, including room blocks and booking links. Please note: for events that do not currently have hotel room blocks & booking links, we are still awaiting these details and will update these pages accordingly once we receive. 2. Full-Year Event Infographic: We’ve added an infographic with all confirmed dates to help you see the big picture and plan ahead for the entire Company 6 season. Be sure to keep this handy as you plan around required events! a. Please note some events have updated finalized dates to pay careful attention to. Including but not limited to: i. Artistic Photoshoot ii. Spring Recital Dress Rehearsal iii. Spring Recital Picture Day iv. Spring Recital b. For the artistic photoshoot please note that an ✨ extra special ✨ separate event will be taking place in studio A for dancers and families to take part in. The event will open one hour prior to photoshoot commencing and close one hour following photoshoot wrapping.
