Checking on the outcome regarding a few trial students (no rush on responding here): • Sana who trialed tap/jazz level 2 a few weeks back • Family that said they would pull their kid if they couldn't go to level 3 • Any memore of a dancers with the parent last name Robles or parent first name rio • Saniya t. Trial card notes: I believed I remembered Katie saying she was the only dancer who wasn't ready for lyrical and to move into a new class the very first week. Do we have notes on her? If you can prep an end of week recap in Google docs for me to review that would be great. Examples of things to include: • Overview of trials (about how many came in, about how many continued vs didn't, any major things of note, any amazing feedback or negative feedback from parents, any level issues) • General updates on outstanding tasks/tasks we've discussed • Pain points and success points from the week • Reminders of things still waiting for Caleb or myself • Enrollment board updates (returning students who continued or confirmed not coming back) • Prospective updates (may not have too much but anything major that stands out) • Teaching notes or questions from your classes Notes from me: • Reminder to restock shoes please. We've had quite a few at front desk for a while now. The pile started when I brought in ettas ballet shoes for her to try on and left them at desk for her but it seems to have stayed and grown from there • I will be briefly popping in around 6:30 abd will bring towels. Sorry i forgot yesterday in the midst lf the chaos. but i will be offline most of the other parts of the day working on other studio tasks • Reminder to please wrap up any trials that finished more than 4 days ago. I haven't checked today but Tuesday there were quite a few over a week old. I'd people aren't replying to follow up calls we need to text them a deadline to respond and letting them know if we don't hear back by that date we will go ahead and cancel their free trial so they aren't charged and we will release that spot in the class to other dancers and that if they decide to enroll in the future we would love to have them

• sana - cancelled trial • Noya - no response since we responded • no idea.... • Saniya's mom actually emailed to move Saniya out of Lyrical. I also had the same concern because she isnt able to keep up even at a slow pace and looks out of it. I sent them suggestions on what to do for the remaining two weeks because they already fully enrolled.

• Saniya we didn't quite answer my question though. I'm relatively sure that she was the student that Katie flagged one the very first day as not being ready for that class when I gave the list of level checks on the paper to you. We didn't have level check cards ready for her so I had to go in and write a list out on paper and then give it to the desk on who was and was not approved. She was not approved and we asked you guys to recommend a different class for her. So ideally she would have been moved to an appropriate class versus her/the family now having a less than positive experience and having to drop the class. We would rather be proactive and come to them with solutions (new classes to take that would be a better fit) than have them bring us a problem (she isn't enjoying this class and is getting frustrated). It impacts their experience as a whole ◦ Similar note for trials. I've heard us come over to families and tell them that it isn't a good fit but then not give them alternative options and invite them for a free trial in the new class. Instead they have to ask us "what's a good class that will teach the basics/foundations" - but we want to be the one to supply that and guide them. ◦ Ex for how to handle this type of scenario: "Hi [mom], so [dancer] is doing great so far! She's very focused in class and working really hard and looks to really be engaged in the class. I spoke with the teacher and because a lot of the dancers enrolled in this class already have experience in ballet and have some of the foundations that [dancer] is still developing, we would like to instead of having her enroll in this class come back and do a free trial in _____ or _____ which would help her developed those foundations! Would either of those classes work for your schedule or would you all maybe want to take a free trial class in a new style/genre ▪︎ This helps a.) keep things positive b.) keep them moving through the trials/coming back versus just calling it a quits c.) us provide solutions versus problems for them to have to figure out how to solve on their own • For shoes if we only had one left I would still like to really keep that a minimal as possible. Their size, one size up and one size down please. • Trial board was missing quite a few updates still - will go over in person at 3:30 while tina runs duet private today • Will review doc momentarily • Noya - have we cancelled this trial/given them the deadline for cancelling?

• On the list of papers I had, I did not any one marked as not to move up besides the hip-hops leaps and turns and ballet. I also do not remember seeing one specific for Lyrical. If I did miss it, that is my mistake. • If I remember correctly, you are probably talking about the Leung sisters or Dhyana's mom. Both I have communicated multiple times on the phone about if a certain class does not work out what the alternatives would be so in person I only confirmed yes, this is not the correct fit. I can make sure to do it in person as well. • Noya: We cancelled the trial, they never contacted us back after multiple phone calls and texts.

• Saniya - idk I definitely remember talking to you about please suggesting a new class for her the day of the trial. That's why I was asking if we found the notes in her enrollment or trial ticket that said whether it was a good fit or not to double check • Dancers not approved for level they trialed - Yes it doesn't matter the previous conversations - especially if they just came out of the class we need to be armed with suggestions to guide them to next. At the very least, circling back to the previous options you suggested

Thank you. Saniya is moving to only being in Hip-Hop. I let mom know she can try another class for the remaining 2 weeks, but she hasn't responded yet. Ill call her tomorrow.
