@Torie Warren Missed call from Michelle yu, The instructor had put the check in the drawer, so she wanted to let us know she ended up taking the check back and will bring it later today to make sure it gets handed to someone.

Why did she take it back?

She was worried it would get missed place or moved around while we were out.

Two questions: • Did you see a check at the front desk from her on Friday? • When when was this call?

• they called earlier today before i arrived, then called back at 3 pm. • She said they dropped off the desk during the weekend when we were closed

That's really interesting and not sure if it's true but okay lol. I emailed all renters on the 1st reminding them that rent is due on the 1st and that if not received by the 7th then they get a late fee. They rent on Thursday nights. So their check would have been at the desk on Friday. It's interesting that it wasn't but now on the last day of the grace period they call and say they DID leave it, but came back and picked it up, and are going to bring it again later... suuuuure friends. But I'll just accept that this time 🙃
