@Caleb Warren for clarity this is what I just sent the families that got that text earlier. Just so you are informed and on same page Hi this is Ms. Torie hopping in. There appears to have been some misunderstanding with our admin team of how to process costumes that were not numbered properly at the return phase. Please allow me to walk through the background context for full clarity. It will be lengthy but I hope will help to provide some understanding of the situation: The email with the cleaning instructions asks for families to number their costumes in the method that is attached in the photo below. This allows us to ensure that all of your dancers costumes were returned. Costumes that are properly numbered and labeled then move on to the return quality check phase, where they are then scanned for any lingering odor, stains, tears. If any issues are found, an email is sent with the specific problems and they are sent back home to have a chance to be recleaned. Costumes that are not properly numbered are set aside to be checked following all the costumes that have been returned appropriately. Once their turn in the queue comes, we reach out to families to ask a few questions: 1.) did they receive the email with the care instructions. If not we resend the email and have them complete the cleaning process. If yes, then we move on to question 2 below 2.) did they fully wash and dry the costumes prior to returning them to the front desk. If no, again they are sent home and if yes we move on to question 3 below 3 3.) we let them know that they missed the step regarding numbering the costumes. We ask if they can notify us of how many costumes were returned and number them for them and move them into the return quality check queue. As long as there are no issues with odor, stains, or tears then they are accepted with no further steps required from families. Now with that context, can you please confirm if you have completed all of the washing and drying instructions as listed in the recital email? If so, please kindly confirm the number of costumes your dancer returned so that we can move them on in the costume check process. Thank you and apologies for the confusion caused by the first message you received. You should have been asked the questions above prior to being asked to pick up your dancers costume to care for them further.
