Hello, can you confirm two console.device bugs? (GUI freeze on resize + stale redraw) While working on my aarch64/macOS hosted port I hit two bugs that look platform independent, and I'd like to know if you see them as well before I submit fixes. Full GUI freeze: open a Shell window, drag its size gadget, release, then immediately grab and drag it again. Here the whole GUI deadlocks (all input dead, pointer frozen). The cause I found: console.device's input handler forwards events to the console task and waits synchronously (WaitPort), while intuition holds the layer locks for the whole interactive drag and the console task blocks on those locks during the redraw from the first resize. It needs the second drag to start while that redraw is still running, so depending on machine speed it may take a few tries. Stale redraw: make a Shell window smaller, then larger. The newly exposed area is never repainted and the text keeps the old layout. Cause: intuition delivers SIZEWINDOW/REFRESHWINDOW for IDCMP-less windows as generated input events, which only handlers below priority 50 can see, but console.device listens at priority 51, so the console task never receives them. Both look like they have been in the tree for a long time. Can anyone reproduce either one on their setup? If confirmed I'll send the fixes. Thanks!
