My client just got warning he will be charged for my rental actor tomorrow October 2nd. So guys any chance to process the transition somehow finally? Shouldn't the rental work only until September 30th? It's October 1st and actors I left for their fate are still shown as rental...
e
Hi there! Tha depends when you migrated the Actor. Feel free to DM me the Actor ID and I can confirm this for you 🙂
x
I didn't migrate it in anticipation all not migrated actors will be today migrated automatically to PPU. So was I wrong again? 😅
e
They are being migrated in batches, not all at once. If your customer gets charged for the monthly rental fee, they will get a proportionate refund of credits once your Actor is migrated.

I tracked the API total number of
pricingModel=FLAT_PRICE_PER_MONTH
since yesterday and today around 10:30 UTC is started returning 0

But there are still actors in rental mode without a label notifying of a price change.
I assume those will eventually be migrated to PPU
btw, @Lukas Krivka this is what I was talking yesterday. That it won't be just to click a button and everything would be migrated 😅
And the reason I was saying "Good luck", because as a SWE I know migrations are not trivial
x
I thought migration to PPU is switching one variable in column table Actors, column_name pricingModel, considering there were 2k of them this doesn't look as a big deal to me. Maybe there is some caching involved...
l
Hah, that's on us, it really shouldn't take days to migrate this...
