- What do you mean by smart testing? - Do you pormote your actors outside of the store? if yes, then how - What kind of nieches do you server with your actors? Can you give a link to your profile? - Do you go into price races in estabilished fields, or care about others pricing at all?

I have the feeling that there are less users in the "Rental to PEE calculator" feature than the amount of users i see in the insight panel (in apify console). Is it just me ? Another question, how do you prefer we request the price override for our users ?

Hello team, if my tool go to ppe price model on 29 sept , but if you user today subscribe our tool rental. then what happen its automatically stop on 29th ? Apify only pay for 4 days..but user already scrap more data from our tool ..

What do you mean by more data? Point of rental was you don't care about how much data was scraped...But you're right, I already gave up understanding what happens for existing users, if there will be 14 day period for them, or the will see rental actor or they will see PPE actor, or new users will se rental actor they can't subscribe to... it's a mess. Sincerely hope this is behind us asap and apify somehow stabilises for a while without constantly forcing new features

no today new users saw my rental actor they can see subscribe to rental pricing. because still not migrate to PPE for 14 days ends on 29th as per i change actor price. problem is this time when changes is progess then must enable pay per event for new user if subscribe.. for existing user can remain same,

@Ella and APIFY Team i mean lets user today(25 th) register on my tool with 30$ rental. now on 29th price change to PPE. but apify will reverse payment for this user and refund the amount ..only take 4 days payment : 25 th to 29th payment. but user already scrap 10000 records from my tool... as per PPE PRICE(10$/1000 records) we need to get : 100$ but as per rental refund by apify we will get only for four day after they refund =23*4/30 ... apify must resolve this ..i think they also need to consider result record they scrap when they refund remaining rental refund to user.

but today user subscribe tool already scrap 10k result.. now our tool move to ppe on 29th..so at the time of payout only give me payout for 4 days only : 25th to 29th only, other refund to user again.. but us er used tools so much.. hope got my point.

for all tool happen like this..i think must be calculated usage of data at time of refund for remaing days. in my many tools refund many days amount

not for money dude.. its just my query.. because at time of payout refund to all tools so much for all tools.. so user register on now days get almost full refund but using more tool and get data.. so nothing get

I don't think the rental code is that big of a deal since it is basically PPU and some extra system that doesn't integrate with the rest too much. But it will allow us to streamline the UI. Events as a term might sort of go away and just become "pricing"

My client just got warning he will be charged for my rental actor tomorrow October 2nd. So guys any chance to process the transition somehow finally? Shouldn't the rental work only until September 30th? It's October 1st and actors I left for their fate are still shown as rental...

On the 30th of September, I took a snapshot of rental actors: 2,726 Actors Today, on the 2nd of October, the migration looks like this: - Rental, with upcoming change: 217 - Rental, no upcoming change listed: 924 - Pay per event: 329 - Pay per usage: 1,176 - Unlisted: 80

It really looks like they are doing it manually 😅

MY PPE actor earning down from $$ to 20$ revenue in 6 days....93% less profit.. client like rental model for use api on there website for continue use..clients leave this PPE model pricing.. hope oct month go well.. Good Luck and God bless to all developer...

no surprise, even apify itself runs on rental (per month) model, which for sure works best, everybody runs on it. But it's apify decision devs will not profit from it and we have to respect it. Nowadays it takes like 30 minutes to create fully operating SaaS site with own billing and basic features mimicking apify, so there are no excuses to use apify as platform for your products should you be not happy with that....so imho it's not question of passive waiting for God blessing but active exploring/testing/trying other options. Apify is still perfect way to test waters/market with your ideas.
