I just joined to protest the removal of rentals. I honestly think this is an awful change, and accomplishes the complete opposite of what's intended. I'm not sure about everyone else, but personally I find PPE to be far more complex, confusing, and unpredictable compared to rental pricing. It also removes any chance at a stable income that I could get on Apify. Not all actors should be rental, but not all of them should be PPE either. This is extremely disappointing and means that I will have to move away from and completely abandon apify entirely. I just ran the numbers, and if I priced my 4 profitable actors at a barely reasonable PPE I would have made only $77.91 last month instead of the $364 I made from rentals. I've thought about this numerous times prior to this change being announced and on average it seems that using PPE would reduce my monthly revenue by at LEAST 80%, unless I priced my actors unreasonably high. I would imagine other developers would be in a similar situation.
