Do both of these roles have admin authorization at the namespace-level?

One was an admin role of the tenant and the other had consumer/produce on the namespace

what command were you trying to run when you got the “permission denied” error? Were you trying to grant topic permissions using the non-admin role?

I am using the pulsar-shell and attempting to using `admin topics permissions &lt;Tenant&gt;/&lt;Namespace&gt;/&lt;Topic&gt;` with the JWT authentication that has both roles.

Well, I was trying to do it with both roles thus the multi role authentication. That same JWT is authorized to operate on the namespace
