In my table, there is a column called

'result_success'

for success status. The data type is boolean. In my business queries, this value always extracts aggregate results. For example,

SUM(result_success = true)

or

AVG(CASE WHEN result_success = true THEN 1 ELSE 0 END)

. For the result_success column, I am wondering whether a metric field or a dimension field is a better choice.

I think either will work, but may be dimension if it is not a numeric value.
