Even after reading the document, I don't clearly understand 'granularity'. I feel like I'm not good enough. 1. If
"granularity": "1:MILLISECONDS"
, is data bucketed and stored for each MILLISECONDS? If so, a huge amount of buckets will be created. Am I correct in my understanding? 2. The document contains the following: 'For example, the format can be
milliseconds 1:MILLISECONDS:EPOCH
, but bucketed to 15 minutes i.e. we only have one value for every 15 minute interval, in which case granularity can be specified as 15:MINUTES. ' “we only have one value for every 15 minute interval” What happens if there are two values in 15 minutes (ex, kafaka message)? Will my data disappear? 3. Also, in the situation where "fomat" is
"1:MILLISECONDS:EPOCH",
What is the difference between
"granularity": "1:SECONDS"
and
"granularity": "1:MILLISECONDS"
?
Thank you so much always. 😀

1. there is no internal bucketing in terms of what you are thinking, so no question of huge amounts of buckets. 2. No data loss. every value in the 15 minute interval will get the same value of time in millis. 3. To understand this better you need to go back to 2. all values within a 15 minute bucket will get the same value for time (eg beginning millisecond at the start of bucket). Same applies on seconds vs milliseconds
