Hi Team , I have few questions regarding Query from Deep storage 1. can we use union queries 2. can we run native json to query from Deep storage 3. In the documentation it says for the query results we need to use the
user
that submitted the query . I did submit query using curl from a broker host . After submitting i am able to check the status of the job. But when the job finishes and i am trying to get the results or status curl it is not working . Getting below Error
Copy code
curl --location --request GET '<http://localhost:4080/druid/v2/sql/statements/query-3850b19b-8913-4a27-9eed-526523b47098>' --header 'Content-Type: application/json'
{"error":"druidException","errorCode":"notFound","persona":"USER","category":"NOT_FOUND","errorMessage":"Query [query-3850b19b-8913-4a27-9eed-526523b47098] was not found. The query details are no longer present or might not be of the type [query_controller]. Verify that the id is correct.","context":{}}

1. Yes, but it's still restrictive:
2. I don't think so ... afaik the native query engine uses can access only data that is preloaded onto Historicals.

Thanks @John Kowtko can we use MSQ to query data that is preloaded on Historical and Deep Storage ?
j
Currently MSQ will not touch Historical pre-loaded segments ... it is Deep Storage only, plus an option to also query real-time segments (whose data has not been pushed to Deep Storage yet). There is a revision to MSQ being worked on that will allow it to query Historical-cached segments as well ... although I don't know the exact timeline for this.

ok .. thanks for the update .
