Hi everyone! I launched a saas product and desperately looking for people to try it out. I checked the internet an asked “what is the way to reach your target group”. Answer is “obviously” - ADS and CONTENT. Ads seem scary, feels like i might just burn money as i’m a newbie here, content - i have an idea of content and started creating but i don’t know which channels to use, how to test whether content makes sense. I’m asking people who have tech background but did marketing, whats the right way to do it FAST 😄 Sorry i can imagine how stupid this might look, but i’m looking for any source of information or inspiration 😄

What kind of people are you looking for? You usually find them where they already hang out. If your content is relevant to developers working on SaaS applications, feel free to post it here!

This is our product https://www.roq.tech/ It’s 2nd iteration after we pivoted from initial product. Re:What kind of people are you looking for? Ideal persona is tech guy (likely a lead dev or cto in the past) who wants to build a SaaS Product. So far i managed to attract several early adopters: 1. One was building a customer portal for his enterprise client. 2. Other one is a CTO at hotel solution company. 3. Another one is a former engineer who started his own company and built a cool tool on the top of chatgpt. I found them all via personal connections so far 🙂
and now the millionar dollar question - WHERE DO THOSE KIND OF PEOPLE HANGOUT 😄

I met a bunch of startup CTOs at QCon and GoTo conferences. Rand's leadership slack has many CTOs Nost CTOs share content themselves - in LinkedIn and Twitter. You can follow them and respond to their posts, start a conversation and build a good network. It takes time, but the genuine connection and trust that you create pays off. And of course, this great community! 🙂
