Not specifically SaaS-related but I am wondering about the Kafka Summit in London. Has anyone been there? Is there a good scene?

I last did it before the pandemic, but it was well attended and a good chance to talk streaming with a bunch of nerds. Gonna be interesting next time with Confluent finally getting on the Flink bandwagon

I'm biased as a Kafka person(form cflt, currently conduktor)...but i think it's a great scene

Thinking of submitting a talk about Venice

do it! always worth it

Yeah do it, huge changes happening in the streaming market in the next 18m, well worth seeing what's happening at the centre of the action

Thanks for the encouragements. Probably will 🤝

confirming that Venice is very relevant to the Kafka / Streams community.

Done! In the nick of time just before the CFP deadline 😅 … let’s see if they take it 🤞
