Can any experienced in this group please help me, understand if one has no experience in Product Management and they are just going to build a resume to target startups in India. Which of these works/resume will be more preferred by the hiring manager. Both the candidates started at the same time and with same set of the skills and experience 1. Candidate A: Who is working on just one real time product and gets deep into it builds it onboard real users and working on it for past 3-4 months. Basically this guy has depth. 2. Candidate B: Working on different small projects created for each taking 2-3 weeks wherein they create PRD's, case studies etc. This guy has width.

On a very high level. Neither. Both has not shown any movement of business needle. Both sounds more like Product Owner or Business Analyst and not a Product t Manager

Assuming Candidate 1(who is a fresher) is working on a Product, acquiring real users trying to get their feedback and makes some of the users to payment pay as well. Would that not be considered showing any business needle and would not be eligible for APM roles as well?

Then I’ll pick candidate 1. But I’d put those in the CV to be even considered 😁
