I feel like this is a good place to ask this...anyone got thoughts or opinions on whether SOC II Type 1 or Type 2 is better to go for? Seems that Type 1 is faster to get certified, and Type 2 takes longer but offers more assurance.

What I discovered is that without type I, many companies won’t even talk to you. With type I, you can start a POC and tell that you are working on type II and will have it in 6 month.
