I know I'm going to ruffle feathers here because there are many SaaS products that try to replace sales teams with AI. But I would strongly recommend keeping your sales people. I just spent an hour trying, and failing, to pay $30 a month for a service that I really need. Because they "buy now" form was broken and their "contact us" chat bot was useless. They sent me an NPS survey, so I responded to that with some direct feedback. But 8h later and I doubt I'll ever hear back. A shame. I was ready to give my card. But if they fail to take my money, I don't trust them with my business.

There have been thousands of products trying to "replace X with Y." And yet, almost all of those X's are still around in some capacity.

At one point, Confluent tried to replace SQL databases with Kafka...
(not that using Kafka instead of SQL is a bad idea 100% of the time, but in many cases it simply makes sense to use a trad database)

from what i’ve always seen, chat bots are never helpful

yeah, and surprisingly they are often worse than using chat GPT directly

that’s the thing with chatgpt. it’s invaluable to someone with skills and helps cut through the boilerplate, but it’s useless to a novice, which is why i’m worried about education

thats a very good point
and the 5000 videos of "I don't know how to code, but I built a full SaaS using ChatGPT" are leaving a lot out...

I think YouTube are trolling me... I'm allergic to the "build saas and make $N ARR without any coding" genre. It does not get better with AI mixed in.

@Rauan Mayemir I so agree with you, Juniors/Beginners using ChatGPT (to good results most of the time), lose the learning experience - just like copy/paste from Stackoverflow without reading why... Its the case of technology "spoiling" us into Ignorance...
