This is a really nice write up of good 3rd party cloud hosting troubleshooting, especially when they show it wasn't their software causing the issue. It's also amusing to me that upgrading the storage should've gotten them off the misbehaving unit and therefore probably fixed the problem, just for the wrong reasons.
