Hey All - We are looking to hire a director/head of analytics to be our first Analytics hire at Nacelle. I joined Nacelle from Fivetran where we had a fantastic data team, and I am hoping to help build something similar in Nacelle. This person has full unilateral authority to build the team they think is best. https://boards.greenhouse.io/nacelle/jobs/4677658003?gh_src=aea07b4d3us

Hi folks -- Even if you like your job, you’ll probably be happier at Tremendous. • We just opened our first foundational Senior Analyst / Scientist role: https://www.tremendous.com/careers?gh_jid=4432235004 • Role will include a combined focus of dbt development and R/Python stats modeling with a fintech focus. • Data Analytics/Science use cases leverage Airbyte, dbt, Snowflake, & Mode analytics. As the use case arises we'll likely roll out Dagster or Airflow, but always open to ideas :) Why Tremendous? • We’re profitable, self-funded, and consistently growing. That means great pay, undiluted equity, and a clear path toward becoming a category-defining company: the payouts platform for businesses that make one-off payments to people. • Our values of autonomy, intentionality, and rationality mean you are expected to use the judgment you’re hired for. We’re fully remote, documentation-first, and semi-async, so it’s up to you to decide where, when, and how much to work. (Except for the twice-annual offsites.) • You won't find a company or opportunity like this anywhere else. I have included some great* details on the company and roles* from our Marketing team, also including the raw results of our latest employee survey. Also included is our employee handbook, which is public by default. Questions? Enthusiasm? Hit me up here or at lucas@tremendous.com

Hi ya! I’m hiring at NinjaCat.io for a Software Reliability Engineer and a Software Engineer. And I’ve got another opening that is full stack (Node/Kotlin/Vue and more) coming soon. We’re fully remote (always have been) across the US and Canada. We help advertising and marketing companies crunch data. We need help exploring Airbyte (come help us implement it in production!) and building new services and infrastructure. Oh, and we’re doing it 4.5 days a week (half day Fridays the month of May) as we experiment towards a 4 day / 32 hour work week. Sound interesting? DM or apply via the links!

I'm hiring a Senior Data Engineer for my team at MIT Open Learning! We're using Airbyte as the core of our data integration to power our greenfield lakehouse data platform. We're shipping data from multiple sources into S3 storage, with AWS Glue for table definitions and Trino as the query engine. Transformations are managed with dbt and the whole thing is orchestrated through Dagster. There is still a ton of interesting work to do and you'll be working with me directly. I'm also the hiring manager so feel free to send me any questions. https://openlearning.mit.edu/about/jobs/senior-devops-data-engineer

Hi everyone! Since many are affected by the mass layoffs these days or unhappy with their current jobs, I thought I might share this inspiring resource to help with your career transitions from my favorite career coach. Check out "Pivot with Purpose". https://zaap.bio/jendycksprout I can relate to the author's experience of leaving a dream job even though everything seemed to be going well on the surface. I've had moments in my own career where I felt the need for a change, even if it meant stepping out of my comfort zone and facing new challenges. It can be scary to leave a familiar environment, but I've found that it's often the best decision in the long run for personal growth and fulfillment!
