Yes. There shouldn't be any technical issues regarding your project, unless that number of APIs didn't come from you or your app using Supabase.

and just in testing it
firebase was like
"hey yo, you made like, 100k requests, we need you to upgrade your plannnnnn. thhaanannnkkssss"

You shouldn't worry about that much unless the pricing plans changed. Which they will probably notify you about it if it ever happens.

If you surpass some limits on your current plan, the supabase support team will reach out and discuss for future upgrade if needed. Rest assured!

how chill is the supabase team? like, if surpass limits and i can't yet afford a paid plan just yet but my project is super dope, can they be lenient?

There is a grace period before you have to pay for an upgrade if you went over the limits

we'll make alterations to these charts so they are categorised and become a bit more obvious what they are actually representing - for instance that 'api requests' label is not very useful if nobody can tell what it means 😄

im just scared.. i've never successfully started a proper website before (one that is actually used professionally or makes any profit at all (of any type)), i understand the limits are kind of high and there are no api limits but im afraid that i might hit a limit of some sort and need to upgrade before im making any profits

As long as you're fine-tuning your app frequently and make reasonable uses of Supabase's APIs. You shouldn't have any problem for scaling. Even with millions of requests per day.

im trying so hard to get this site up and working, functional, so i can actually start my career with it, im having trouble focusing on other topics and (i forget the word), like making sure im doing things the right way with my API requests, i think i am but who knows

we are keen to surface warnings regarding usage in the dashboard app, adding some charts for you folks was the first step to this - I think your right in terms of maybe we can put things in perspective, it could be good to know for projects to see at a glance wether they are very lightly using their project vs a project that is exceeding soft limits. it probably doesn't help that our charts have a y axis based on your highest data point, which probably looks a bit confusing.

i have a trello board set up and i've been trying to update it and such every so often but its hard to keep track of when im working on the site
i figured with my code that i get it working for now, get everything functional, then refactor and so on, later

Hey @User, a startup is gonna be harsh if you are doing it on your own. Consider finding some partners on the ride. They would help you build your product and give some good feedback on it as well.
