i've been supa (get it) happy with this project as well, its hands down one of my favorites right now, probably for a long while, switched off of firebase due to the limitations and prices, the free plan seems to be fill my needs perfectly (and above), but even if i need to go paid, its still within budget :)

I originally tried fauna, but they switched their pricing and allowances in February. I considered Azure cosmos, Firebase, a few AWS options, Mongo, and some other options out there. They all had some sort of limitation that would have made it cost more or simply lacked features. Supabase launched at exactly the right time, and it's been non-stop progress with getting my project off the ground. The fact it's open source and self-hostable is just another big plus over almost everything else on the market.
