    ah fair point: do you feel like you're able to resolve most of your queries through just the documentation? I look at community discords in the same vein as stack overflow - really useful addendums to the doc based on practical experience currently building out this bot such it ingests both the docs + a channel's messages

    I notice that if we try to create a question, it searches for similar titles first, so I'm not sure why there are that many same issues with similar titles..

    Because folks don't tend to read those they just create their own. I've seen this happen yesterday where two of the same questions were asked just hours after each other.

    If you've posted a question in this channel and notice it has been deleted, I deleted it as we've mentioned countless times that you should be using the #1006358244786196510 channel for questions, its also states it in the description of this channel too.

    I think everyone would say their question is mission critical too. I think something we need to make clear on here is that is a user run platform, its user helping users.

    You should note a majority of folks on here are likely using hosted Supabase rather than self-hosted, so the chances of your question being answered quickly will likely not be so. It's a waiting game as it stands. Also note we have only a handful of folks on here answering questions and they might not have any experience with what you are asking so your question could go unanswered for days.

    there are 1000 different things that could have been done wrong leading to that error, and it would take some time to go over all of them, since you didn't provide any information other than an error message. and i honestly don't feel like spending all that time after you spammed 3 messages in 30 minutes about your "mission critical" error in the wrong channel.

    hey guys, I was trying to implement rbac with native auth and assign a custom pg_role to use it with RLS and stumbled upon a solution inspired from some answers. so I wrote a small guide on how to here : https://github.com/orgs/supabase/discussions/13903 please give it a look and leave some feedback, because I am not sure If I did it right or not.     I see a lot of stuff missing in self hosted supabase version (settings, arbitrary file upload settings (without modifying docker-compose etc...)) is there any plan to add it to self hosted version or?
