Right now I believe the only way to get rid of your account is to contact support@supabase.io with your info.

Dang, when I saw it popping up I thought it was an official guide by Supabase https://discord.com/channels/839993398554656828/869573195915739186/1083787492966281236

mhhhh i feel like there is a channel missing for help that is not related to supabase but dev's helping each other. but since its the supabase discord i guess that's kinda spammy and i get why you wouldn't allow that.

Hello everyone, help me. I have a simple site, I need to add a user to the database and then he can log in with a login and a password that I will come up with. How can I do it? I write on Node Js

Yeah I also feel like something is missing. Would be nice with a discussion channel where we could discuss technical stuff that are not really questions for help.

I guess we can use the #1006358244786196510 , but it feels formal in a way

That is what this channel is supposed to be for. General talk that are not help questions. I guess there is a blur between Supabase help and other kinds. It is also best to start a thread for instance if you wanted to chat about chatGPT here. The problem we have is as soon as we create multiple threads people start asking questions in all of them and it is problem for those of us answering to quickly glance in a thread like this versus the somewhat organized flow in help. Context is lost in this thread between the various posts.

i know its a moderation nightmare. like i am starting to learn typescript in a personal project of mine, and wanted to ask "if i am doing it right". not supabase related (kinda, using supabase type generation) but i'm afraid this will be the wrong place for that. Lacking a senior dev sucks.

I think if you are asking for a look at code or how to do something specific with code help, is the best place as that seems to be where people look and easier to see what has not been answered. Here if I get up in the morning and see 25 posts and the first thing is a question, before I can answer it I have to scan all 25 posts to see what happened with it. Or read the posts backwards, which I do sometimes...

If two people are talking here and want to get technical they can certainly start a thread, versus post back and forth also.

I’ve always thought that too, but I have had really good help from the help and questions channel. It just requires a new habit for discord users which I’m sure will be more common when more people get accustomed to the Reddit style forums

Pretty much this and I think the thing most folks here miss is the fact that most people are here asking questions and not answering questions. If we want to be a better community we need to help each other, not just a few of us answering questions. Sometimes I wish if there was like a way to limit the number of questions you can ask until you start answering other peoples questions too.

This is the channel for non-Supabase related stuff like that. But it would be best to keep it in a thread, also soon enough you will realise that it will just turn into a help question anyway hence why we recommend help for most questions.
