On that note, is there a general usage guide on what version of a container image is compatible with what other version of a container image? I build my own supabase/postgres image from the dev branch, but its not compatible with the default supabase docker-compose config

Im facing a problem with Vercel and supabase. My flask app has only flask and supabase as packages and yet it's still "exceeds the 50mb" of vercel's serverless function

For others, we just discussed this in help, and the OP is referring to Dart client streaming.

Please don't post for help in multiple places. I know you are frustrated in not getting an answer, but if everyone double posts, then we would be filled with twice as many things to go thru. I had looked at your post here and noticed you also have a post on github. If no one has answered by now then maybe it is unique. Part of the problem for me was you say it is a 304 error on github and a 302 error here which are different things. But neither really show up in any searches on Supabase in the past that are useful. Also it is not clear if those are real errors or not as one of them is just the server telling the browser you just asked for that and nothing has changed. I think the other is some sort of redirect. You probably need to describe if you have an actual error on the client or are you just seeing those in the reponses? But please do that in your previous questions and not in chit chat. Thanks.

Maybe assigning a tag for having seen the issue on GitHub would make sense. When asking questions on here it sometimes feels like getting ignored, because theres no signal on aknowledgement. I'm sure the devs are super busy and it's obviously not their fault but other open source projects sometimes use something like this.

RedHat for example will aknowledge the bug in their ticket system before they will let it rot for years in some backlog, so at least you know someone saw it before putting it to the other tickets.

Honestly for supabase a business model similar to redhats doesnt seem that bad, would certainly reduce support questions on here 😄

Discord is mainly a user helping user forum. There should be no expectation a dev will see or help here, although they do come around and some employees spend time here (silentworks for instance).
This is a Community-led Discord, where the Supabase Team also happen to hang out.

In another project with a large community like this, where support is also handled via discord, just offering "basic" help has lead to people completely ignoring the GitHub issue board.

Maybe Supabase should consider hiring a community manager, that seemed to have worked for Strapi

I'm sure your suggestions will be seen. Silentworks is sort of the main employee here and was a former mod/user. We also have two mods that get support for helping out. I purposely try to avoid commenting on things I can't answer because once a thread gets a response, it is my belief it will get fewer views by other users/team who know the answer that drop in. Not sure if marking a thread as read by a mod/team is useful or not though. Thanks for the comments.

There is a #1006358244786196510 channel here and we have the GitHub discussions, we cannot control where people post, but each channel has its purpose and a description, I generally don't answer questions in #839993398554656831 because as its states it for just normal chats like what we are having now. @garyaustin and @Olyno has been awesome mods and have been very helpful to the community, there are guidelines in the community to follow, we aren't too strict about them and this may or may not be the reason why people just post where they like. But we are working to build a better community each day.

I think this is one of the problems with realtime chat solutions like Discord, it gives the end user the feeling that their question should be answered immediately when this is not true. This was one of the reason's I prefer forum like solutions like GitHub Discussions, because you will have to either provide enough information to get help, wait on someone to reply or try searching for a solution yourself while waiting on someone to reply.
