Is it possible to display some sort of progress bar while uploading files to supabase storage?

When using the Supabase auth sign in and sign up APIs, should we be sending encrypted passwords or does Supabase encrypt for us? I'm not seeing anything in the docs about whether or not we should worry about that from the application level.

This should be plain text password that you send, the hashing happens on the server side

hi, is there anyway that i can execute raw sql commands using the supabase client or do i have to use any nodejs-postgres driver for that?

You cannot do these from the client directly, but you can create postgres functions and call them via the `.rpc` method of the supabase client library.

Yes that's what I've thought, prisma has this thing, `prisma.raw`. but I understand it will raise security concerns being used at the client side. it might be difficult to create a table with fields and it's types as params of an RPC. Thanks for the help.

Self-hosting Supabase is the only way to change it as far as I know. A CNAME DNS record might also work, but I haven't tried this so I'm not sure if it actually works

but for something like Facebook only one database is not enough, you will need to use microservices, and each of them uses the best database for their use case

I am making a language app that has a social network for studying with friends etc. I want users to make post, comments, shares, likes, friends, groups, etc
