Has anyone had a lot of realtime connections? Wondering how well Supabase scales for a chat app... on the settings page I see x/100 connections which makes it seem very limiting

Realtime connections !== database connections. The client connects to the Supabase instance, which will either reuse an existing connection, or create a new connection if one isn't already open. The limiting factor will be server resources, but there's mechanisms in place to optimise how they're used.

So from what I see on

, there is a range meter of simultaneous connections. This limit refers to simultaneous realtime connections, right?

I guess the confusing part for me is how this scales if your needs are much more than 100 connections
