How to do certain things without backend codebase

Hi everyone, new user here.

First of all thanks for this great open source project, what a great job!

I have two questions:
1/ we plan with my team to host our application in self hosted mode for project constraints. But we would like to use supabase.io for the development environment, apart from the UI, is there a difference in services between the two?

2/ Is there a way to have a unique user base, by example sharong the user base of a project A on projects B and C? How to do it?

What is the machine that's being used to host a project

Or maybe the resource that's being allocated to my project

Like 2 gigs ram, 2 cores some info like that

when using magic links to sign in, how long are they valid? is there a certain amount of time until they expire?
