you can still train arpa on legacy
  • u

and you dont necessarily have to train arpa on pipeline

we just dont have base models for it

unrelated but will a dataset with audio like this work in tacotron? i'm planning on using pipeline for this but if it would work better on legacy please tell me

yeah i mainly meant like.. pipeline has arpa base models and also converts the text to arpabet doesnt it

sucks that all his voicelines are like that... a ton of the characters in hades have effects on their voices (ig cuz they're dead?)

If anyone is trying to run the legacy notebook locally, one issue you'll run into is with
    tf.contrib.training.HParams
since tensorflow 2.0 doesn't support it. To save you some time if you're searching through this channel, just make it into an object instead with the values as properties. Here's an example, you'd just need to change the import statement of course. ill also note that this will impact the notebook as a whole when tensorflow 1.x gets completely deprecated august 1st

Tensorflow? In the legacy TT2 training notebook?

I didn't know the legacy notebook had that

im just really trying to run any of them locally to get away from colab gpu limits and stuff (and I know I should probably be using uberduck-ml-dev on github) but obviously they weren't meant to run outside of colab

    mldev can absolutely run locally

i should probably be doing that since it's meant to, but I'm in deep on this one

If I'm already training a model, would randomly adding more data help it or should I restart?

it will help but you might be best off restarting

it will only help to a limited extent, so by restarting you can get better results
