do you know how to use our API?
  • p
Oh, they just want tacotron2 locally installed
  • k
    ya
  • m
    oh okay got it
  • k
    but
  • k
    i have no idea yet
  • k
    about api
  • p
API is just a way to communicate with Uberduck in code
  • k
I just have my chat on twitch using it
  • m
oh, there is also a program that allows twitch viewers to use TTS stuff
  • p
Yeah, you could use it yourself maybe? Idk how you would
  • k
    its not software
  • k
    twitch setup
  • k
it's directly accessing api i think
  • k
    not sure
  • j
So what I'm getting re: training is that it's better to shoot for more data and fewer epochs?
  • k
    grid three isn't tts
  • k
    actually
  • p
I always keep it at 200
  • k
it's for people like Stephen Hawkins
  • m
    oh ah got it
  • k
    eye tracking
  • p
I think grid3 is just people who have contributed to talk specific phonemes
  • k
if I could install taco and voice local i think I can hack something together
  • m
    sure one sec
  • j
My current model is almost 300 epochs...so should I stop focusing on training and gather more data instead?
  • m
the uberduck team is working on making a tacotron2 dev pipeline, which makes it waay easier for devs to mush something together until it works
  • k
    interesting
  • u
    more data is always better
  • m
    what OS are you on?
