It gives this error when there's a blank line on the txt
  • w
mind if I take a look at the dataset? I can check the transcript see what could be fixed.
  • s
    Sending it tomorrow

Quick question here, what does the spectrogram generator training validation loss at talknet should be like? Is 0.28 okay?
  • j
I mean for a dataset that has around 300 wav files
  • j
And also how much steps for the hifigan model at talknet?
  • j
Is this an area to ask for help with models or is there a better space for that? Just curious because I'm trying out the first model I ever made and it doesn't sound right
  • e
Just asking, but did anyone got the World vocoder to work with tacotron2? Been trying to look up references or other people who tried the same but couldn't find anything lol
  • u
    BFDI puffball didn't sounds good
  • t
    Oh okay, thanks for telling
  • e
Puffball is like.. some sort of musically chord voice. Tacotron tries to learn all the harmonics and doesn't realize that it's supposed to speak in chords that sound pleasant to the ears lol
  • e
That model sounds fun to make troll speeches with tho
  • h
you'd have to get the original clips somehow and then apply vocoding after the generation
  • h
    or hm maybe
  • h
train it on a bunch of other vocoded voices
  • h
then train some more on just puffball

    ljspeech augmentation

Is there any realtime speech recognition/speech to text code for python? Found one here
  • j
Does anyone know why my graph is like this? ~210 epochs and around .12 loss value. Too long wavs?
  • c
    How much wavs?
  • j
    51
  • i
not all of your audio files are the same length thats normal, tacotron is panning so its the same length when it enters the GPU
  • i
    fire alignment btw
  • j
Theres still a few bad ones, but thats good to know
  • c
are you sure ther is one wav of are too long
  • c
that is a big scale of graph
  • j
longest one ive seen was around 15
  • j
    average is 7
  • j
most of it is pretty long yeah
  • j
    Yeah it sounds horrible
