google moving the t4 and being held at gunpoint to interact with the notebook is the reason why i stopped using colab entirely and just set up local training for my gtx 1650
  • c

  • b
    iirc that is local
  • c
jupyter is only necessary if you absolutely need a gui
  • b
yea, it's just a local alternative for people that are familiar with colab
  • c
if they added the cbt guy i dont see why they wouldnt
  • h
    he was?
  • b
    but he's funny

    conda create -n tacotron2 python=3.7
    conda activate tacotron2

  • c
then i installed the rest using pip
  • h
    i'm a bit excited
  • h
wonder what other obvious meme voices we're missing
  • h
preferably excluding dead people (stefan karl stefansson, terry of templeos) because that just feels less moral somehow
  • u
i would enjoy a terry davis voice though tbf
  • h
ooh i remember i was gonna make lessons in meme culture since he uses the same music every time so it's moderately easy to cancel out
  • u
and we technically do have a stefan karl voice in robbie rotten
  • h
unfortunately i suck at doing things
  • h
    -oh we do?
  • h
    zang
  • u
