Yes, I looked that up too. Seems like the closest would be to draw an <svg> shape/text on top. But the working examples I see online only partially work in Preview. Might be a vscode or Dendron or Dendron Preview limitation, not sure. Others rely on JavaScript and I am not sure what and how can be run from within Dendron...

I think it would be useful to annotate on top of images or even video...
