I used this shorcut everyday on Windows. It helps me search fast using headers’ content. I thought this was a feature developed by Dendron team?

I think it's actually a VS Code feature and can be used anywhere, not just Dendron vaults 🙂

friend sent me this video.. got me on a little knowledge tree spree.. reminded me of a lot of things i liked about in obsidian actually! on how i can take a small piece of something out of context, and not really think of the whole structure. i'm taking this approach with a vault im doing now (ethereum / general computer knowledge vault).

instead of limiting yourself to individual insights, once you have exhausted your initial insight divergence (or even after some deliberate practice) you can then learn from others mental models if you have made these atomic

i.e. a card (digital or physical) allows for card sorting and learning from another's path

or the ability to (pseudo)randomize and start from an unexpected entry point (aka shuffle)

I feel like I don’t fully understand what you mean. What is insight divergence @bitNomad and do you have any examples? Randomization sounds fun. I always liked the idea of picking some entry point like that, and following the web of knowledge. Like a anki system almost.

I have examples for dayzzzz: a canoe is rigid, fixed solution on how it manages a river. A raft, on the other hand, can navigate the unexpected because it is not fixed thus is resilient against rapids where said canoe would shatter
