Hey, I was just setting some stuff up, and I was trying to create a new Dendron enabled workspace, but all I managed was to create a Dendron specific space. Ie. it didn't enable Dendron in what I was trying to, but created a new one, and didn't really provide any options. I'm sure there's a way to create a workspace, and then enable Dendron in it. But when I went to look, I got an answer that just created a new "Dendron-3" workspace.

Use the Initialize Workspace command and select "Code Workspace". You'll be able to select the folder path next. See https://wiki.dendron.so/notes/lamzybrD6SgQlJ9BpwkQk/ for a video guide of the other type of Dendron workspaces.

Thank you that page loads with a DOMException and displays nothing, except that your DOMException is my fault.

Reading through the Dendron docs, it seems that "Todo's" or "Task Management" options are: 1. Create a bullet task such as
    - [ ] todo desc
and "check it off" once complete (can create subtasks, but in essence, its the same format) 2. Create a Task Note I need something that is a bit more dynamic. Something like a snippet when creating a Todo that allows me to quickly select PROJECT_NAME, PRIORITY, DESC, DUE DATE, STATUS, etc. Statuses are thinks like SOMEDAY, TODO, WAITING, PARTIAL, CANCELLED, DONE, etc. I see there are other extensions such as Todo Tree, Highlighter, etc. But I don't see that these have statuses that can be quickly selected using a keyboard shortcut. What are you using for this type of thing?

For now, I'm using org mode (well, I installed it) and bind "org: increment context" and "org: decrement context" to keys that I can activate in markdown mode. It's probably overkill if you only want to manage your todos, but org mode let's me see my older notes with nice coloring as well.

Yep. We don't have a command to do that at the moment but here is the steps you need to take: https://wiki.dendron.so/notes/401c5889-20ae-4b3a-8468-269def4b4865/#renaming-a-vault

That should be fine. Dendron only cares about known directories

I have all my Dendron notes automatically syncing through Dropbox. Although I'm on iOS, the sync should be the same. Here's a link to some Android apps people have found to work well with Dendron: https://wiki.dendron.so/notes/SJtEnmQQYGu0bP2Kg7UbA/#mobile There's another link from there to a blog post with even more Android options.

thanks! that sounds good enough, looping in dropbox instead of something self hosted is kind of lame though

I've heard good things about NextCloud, SyncThing, and OwnCloud if you want something similar to Dropbox that you can self-host. Lots of other options, too: https://github.com/awesome-selfhosted/awesome-selfhosted#file-transfer--synchronization

I didn't think iOS exposed a filesystem abstraction general enough to like, have a second app background syncing your generic markdown editor
