Yep, what I thought, it has happened to me. Just my 2 cents, I use CTRL/CMD + SHIFT + V then right-click to Open in Browser for Printing my pages. It doesn't render well in Dendron but it does well in a browser window. 😉

Unsure if I am just unable to, or if that could be made into a feature request, but: When I want to zoom into my Grpah, it either zooms in too much, or zooms out too much and there is no control in how much I can actually zoom, it is predefined in steps. Can I change that? Or should I do a feature request for it? I want it hard looking at the graph and navigating it, if I can't control the zoom level.

Hi. I create a new note in a new workspace, reload the window and the tree view and lookup can't find them. Creating a new workspace and a new vault has the same results: md files are there but not to Dendron. Any idea what i'm doing wrong?

how are you creating the new notes? dendron looks for frontmatter in the notes and expects you to create them using the

cmd+l/ctrl+l

Yes I am using cmd+l to create a new note. I create the note, wax poetic and go about my business. When some event calls for a reload, all those notes, other than my daily journal entries, are missing from the tree view and from lookup. New workspace, local vault, remote vault, same result. I don’t know if this is a bug or operator error.

Heya, new question. Say I have a Dendron WS with multiple vaults, is there any option to indicate that my new notes have a preferred Vault target ? With this, I would not populate "remote" vault 🙂

can you make sure that you are in a dendron workspace (eg. when you run

workspace settings

) when you create notes? next time you have your workspace open, can you send me the output of

dendron: diagnostics report

If you want to always be prompted with new notes, you can configure

Would it make sense to have a CSV -> Dendron Note (hierarchy) ? In my quest for a "CRM", I'd like to make it absorb my data (a geographic area with clients) so I can track interactions. I am quite lazy when it comes to manually enter the whole thing (plus, I am not sure how I'd like to organize it). Thx.

Oh and another question: how would you share notes/settings between 2 or more computers privately ?

I'm efficient (which here means "forgetful"), so I use Dropbox. It can automatically sync files between computers without you having to remember to initiate a sync. The free tier is large enough to handle a lot of text files, although it might fill up if you add larger files, too. I use a paid tier, which lets me have lots more space and a longer undo history, for the rare cases when sync clashes happen. Other people prefer using Git (via GitHub, GitLab, etc), which is another great option if you are more diligent about committing your changes or are willing to figure out sync automatic scripts. There are other options beyond those two, but these seem to be the most common.

Problem, I can't use Dropbox at work. OTOH, git is possible. I just do not know how to do it :/

I've got an issue submitted where it doesn't show in the preview for new children/back links unless you reload VScode (reload index doesn't work) but they should show in the dendron panel still

Yeah, in the backlinks panel they show perfectly, that's what I'm using for now. But the children aren't showing either in the preview mode, and not even reloading VSCode works.

That's the problem. I can't. The issue is in my main workspace, with all my notes, I don't remember when or how that happened because there was a time when all works perfectly until don't, but I tried test it in a new workspace and it behave like you said, only reloading VSCode and for new notes

Markdown previews are taking 30+ seconds to load, and don't update at all if you switch files
