So, Working Copy on iPhone is awesome! Combined with iOS Shortcuts you can set up a really efficient note taking process. I’ve never actually used a mobile git client and markdown previewed before. It supports most of what I’d need on the go for sure. One thing I’d like to try to remedy, though, is that it doesn’t automatically show child pages. I know the normal Dendron Preview in VSCode shows them automatically. How would I go about generating this myself at the bottom of every note? Any pointers to get started would be great. Thanks! Or any alternate ideas. It’s not critical, just something I want to look into to see if it’s out of my league, or not, to implement. 🙂

Eventually I’ll just auto publish to git pages. Whenever I feel like purchasing git. Lol

When using local installatioins of VScode, should I have my vscode for programming be a global install and my dendron install be a local install or vice-verse? Or should they both be local?

What do you mean by local install? as in portable mode?

or do you mean enabled per workspace?

in any case, as long as it's enable when you open a Dendron workspace, it will work. Also works within portable mode of VSCode if that was what you were asking.

Are you trying to add the note preview to the sidebar?

I have some notes with a lot of backlinks and I would like to see more details in the BACKLINKS view of dendron. Consider that in the attached screenshot the file name is shown redundant. It would be nice to show the filename and the title, maybe the vault too.

I agree. The backlinks panel could give more information about the files. Not strictly the same request, but we have a similar request in Github: https://github.com/dendronhq/dendron/issues/2851 Feel free to add your thoughts or additional request there. All related requests would be tracked there.

I've just downgraded to v0.92.1 having been upgraded to v0.93.0 as the backlinks, tree view, calendar view all disappeared ! has anyone else seen this ? I'm able to work again on 0.92.1 but will need to downgrade again when vscode does its thing

There's a Dendron panel on the sidebar now, that's where all the views have gone. There should be a Dendron icon on your sidebar, could you check if it's there when you have some time?

@SeriousBug - I've gone back to 0.93.0 and can see the new Dendron sidebar link - 3 2 1 and I'm back in the room - thanks. And now I have read Dendron Weekly 0.9.3 relase, dendron Side Bar - doh !

What is the policy on updating Mermaid? Seems that in Dendron it is 8.14 while the latest is 9.01?

We don't have a policy for updating Mermaid at the moment. Is there a Mermaid feature you need that is not in the current version supported by Dendron?

Do you mean another VScode window? Dendron only activates inside Dendron workspaces, which is by design to make sure it doesn't mess with any files elsewhere. If you open a Dendron workspace in that window too, it should work.

I am trying to set up publish to Github. Will this allow me to publish my graph as well? Is there an easy way to set up publish for non-technical people like myself?
