Have you looked at using the Markdown Import pod? That may be able to do a bit of work for you out of the box: https://wiki.dendron.so/notes/f23a6290-2dec-45dc-b616-c218ee53db6b/

I'm looking to replicate the workflow that I had within roam research. I had a daily notes page in which I could create what some call an interstitial journal - every activity would be recorded with a start time and end time - and any thoughts that come up and seen relevant. its a logical place to put meeting notes but also a place to capture files that I've been working on. with regard to file upload, is there an easy way to get or drag files into dendron in a single step. currently I believe that you first have to put the file in the asset directory and then reference it in a note. can this be streamlined in anyway? thanks in advance, paul

Oh god. Have an exam today and was hoping to use Dendron but it's gone and died. So I'm trying to 'show preview' and it's just constantly throwing an error. I tried making another workspace and that didn't work either. Please help 😢

Can you run "Dendron:Dev: Show Logs" and message me the output? Let me see if I can figure out what's wrong real quick

In the meantime you can go to the extensions part of VSCode, search for Dendron, right click on it and then click "Install another version". 0.80 is the version that was just released today, if it was working yesterday you want to pick 0.79 to go back to that.

I have the same issue as @User . I downgraded to .79 and the preview is working again. Not so much a question as an FYI.

No actually, we avoided that so it doesn't conflict with GitHub issue numbers

Hi! I just setup my Dendron vault on a Gitlab repo, then I cloned it down to another computer. On this computer (VSCodium), I setup a brand new Dendron workspace. I then deleted the pre-made 'vault' folder and replaced it with the one I cloned. Is this a legit way to do it, or will it cause problems (dependencies, paths, and such)? I couldn't find any other information specific to this method. My plan is to add notes to my vault (I only have one) and just use git and Gitlab to synchronize them. Thanks!

That sounds fine, there's also a "vault add" command that can add remote vaults (git repos) and a vault remove command that can delete the default one. They basically do what you have done already though, so you should be good. Do ask for help if you hit any issues and we'll help figure it out.

Is there a way to publish private notes so only I can view them from my mobile device?

You could host it yourself and use HTTP Basic Authentication. I've done that with nginx before
