An idea I’m toying with in my own notes is breaking my notes into multiple vaults by topic. This would reduce the amount of notes in a single vault directory, but maybe more usefully make it easier to share/publish notes as there would be clearer boundaries between topics. On performance/finding things, I’m at a few thousand notes in my employer vault and lookup means I’ve never needed to look at the filesystem in the ~14mo I’ve been using Dendron. The hierarchy overlays a filesystem-like structure for you. The extension startup time is ~1400ms, but has remained pretty constant

I'd like for "Dendron: Workspace: Add and Commit" to be run automatically with some regular frequency so I don't have to run it manually (nor remember to), e.g. ~5 min after stopped any activity in the workspace. Is this someone else here have solved already? Any VSCode plugin to recommend to this end?

but not with Dendron preview ...

Yes actually this is puzzling me. I not only disabled but also removed Markdown Preview Enhanced ... put I still get two preview icons on the upper right (The one of Dendron preview and the one for Markdown Preview Enhanced)

Is there a cache or some additional action I should do to remove/disable an extension. Usually it works directly.

Note that I restarded VSCode various times

and no traces of markdown previeww enhanced plugin ...
