that looks like the right syntax and it seems to be working for me, but you have to make sure you're using dendron's preview and not some other preview extension.

markdown preview enhanced is a separate extension, so dendron-specific features won't be present

run the command "Dendron: Show Preview" and see if the embed works

ahhhh HA! ok, right. i've been using the ctrl +k ctrl + v to see my notes and i guess that is using a different renderer

I am getting an error from trying to refactor my hierarchy. "Command 'Dendron: Refactor Hierarchy' resulted in an error (Cannot read property 'message' of undefined)"

Any ideas on how to fix this or what is going wrong? I am trying to remove a prefix as I've changed to using a multi-vault setup and I'm finding the prefix to be annoying. Changing ASI.journal.* -> journal.*, etc.

On a slightly different note, it could be nice to have the offending note that is causing the error mentioned in the error dialog

hmm, can you make sure to save a snapshoot of what you have and then run "reload index" before running refactor?

No change from Reload index. It could be my syntax is incorrect. Does this look right?

I first tried to do all of ASI.* --> * , that didn't work, so I'm going through each branch and trying to refactor form there. This is a small one, so I'm starting here. ASI.Tools.* -> Tools.* and this is also not working

it might be the mixed case. we normalize everything internally to be lowercase. can you submit an issue for us? will investigate from the issue

Just updated VSCode and saw @User mentioned for adding the feature that lets extensions disable VSCode's built-in markdown preview button! Do we have to change anything in the config, or should this just automatically happen with Dendron?

I just tried to export a pod (Markdown v2) and got an error message: "This error should never occur! Please report a bug if you have encountered this. Source: Dendron Extension" <-- Now what?
