I think we had this feature since around v50, or a little earlier. Is that what you're asking?

No. What I'm asking is just out of curiosity. What seems to have happened is that it looks like

autoFoldFrontmatter

was changed to

true

automatically with the 0.55.1 update.

I think the default was always true, it was supposed to be anyway. Did it get changed in your config? That could be a bug with the update, we can look into that.

ah, interesting, if the default was always true, than yes, maybe the latest update "fixed" the bug and the true got applied.

I'm seeing the same thing. I don't mind the change. I have never set autoFoldFrontmatter and have used the default. At some point in the past, it was set to true, then went to false, and is true again.

I never set that either, and the behavior only began with the last update for me as well.

Hi everyone, what would be a good way to share a selection of dendron notes in an accessible format? I wrote a course summary a while ago and I would like to share it with a friend from uni, but I realized that I don't have a good way (or haven't learned it yet) to share those notes in a way that preserves the backlinks and assets. Would it be easiest to compile to a .html project that you could then share and open in your browser like you would with standard web publishing? I know she could install the extensions on vscode and just open my files in a new vault, but I'm curious if there are ways to send pre-compiled documents based on Dendron notes.

@User so i tried adding the seed for the website and it gave me this error

and it doesn't seem to have pulled down the seed

Weird—I just noticed that my

dendron.yml

has the line

dendronVersion: 0.52.0

but the VS Code extension says it's at 0.55.1. Does

dendronVersion

change any behaviors? Nothing comes up when I search for it on the wiki.

nope, it’s currently something we’re experimenting with on upgrades in order to enable disable features in the future depending on your current version

Hey! Lately, preview v2 keeps stopping midway. I have to reload the entire VS Code window and it starts working again only to stop working after a few minutes

What do people use to leave comments to team members, etc? Is there a way to leave comments, TODOs, etc that will not render? I see this works but would be good to hear...
