im using dendron with vscodium. Currently vscodium can't connect to marketplace to update dendron extension (still at 0.49). But vscode can connect and update dendron normally. Anyone can help me to know why? I'm trying to test

No. I've tried to search for another extension. It just say "we can connect to the Extensions Marketplace at this time". But things works normally in vscode

Hmm, for now you could manually update it. Try downloading it from here, then drag and drop the file to the extensions list in VSCodium: https://open-vsx.org/extension/dendron/dendron

The issue otherwise sounds like a VSCodium problem, I'd recommend sending a bug report to them.

a small question but: markdownlint complains about 4 spaces for a tab press in lists. should i change it to 2 as it expects or is 4 a dendron expectation? should this be set to 2 for dendron workspaces somewhere?

Smo can teach me what’s wrong with 4 spaces? Iirc 4 spaces then hyphen is also equivalent to indented unordered list in markdown syntax

IIRC you can set how many spaces you want to used for tabs in markdownlint. 2 is probably just a default value.

I don't think there's an authoritative rule for styling markdown. The extension probably has some rules that promotes consistency which is always a good thing imo.

I too am on VScodium, and I can confirm that I have same problem. In past, I had assumed that when I see error "We can not connect to Market place" I assumed it was network error on my side. Cause the problem would usually go away after a while (It's not like we install new extensions everyday/often - so I may not have noticed) I think issue will be resolved soon 🤞

Manual install worked! (and I learned about manually installing the extensions in the process 🙌 )
