a, meta-click used to do that for me nicely, though.

the reason this is different is because we used to map this to the

go to definition behavior

. the problem was that hovering over a link would trigger this behavior and create a note for links if it didn't exist. some of our users didn't like that and semantically, wasn't the right behavior (checking the definition should be side effect free) which is why go to definition now only navigates to the note if it exists and we created a separate command for new notes

I got also a questioni: I edited the dendron.yml file manually. The configure settings (without the yaml) shows no gui. Is that a version bug or did i maybe destroy the gui chaning stuff by hand?

yes it does, but the option is gone when doing ctrl+shift+p

and i would also like to change a vault name and im not sure if the right way is changing the directory name + every occurence in the dendron.yml file Update: ok solved it nvm, but still no" gui"

+ i got 2 Vaults one for publishing and one for private stuff. (My journal, work stuff and person knowledge). If i only want to publish the one vault. I set the root: publish by defaul of the public to true and the private to false. Thats working so far in the npm build, but im now unsure on how to proceed with github. Would be the correct way to setup the main dendron workspace directory as my github repo and include a .gitignore which tells git to ignore my private/ vault ?

for that process, you can decouple your workspace from your vaults with the layout described here: https://wiki.dendron.so/notes/24b176f1-685d-44e1-a1b0-1704b1a92ca0.html#file-layout-for-multi-vault-workspace you can have your individual vaults as separate repositories. dendron will pull in all un-initialized vaults at startup. the docs are a bit lacking so let me know if you want more guidance
