I've notice this comes up a lot. Do you think that eventually Dendron's own extensions could start to implement some of the features people want from Markdown All in One? For me, the biggest thing that extension does is automatically update list numbers. Even though it's not necessary when you're outputting from Markdown, it's really satisfying to have correct numbers in the file.

hard to comment on timeline. numbering and auto indent are some of the bigger features. we currently haven’t prioritized them but feel free to submit a feature request(s) and we’ll make them part of the weekly community issue votes if they get traction!

@User as @User mentioned, I would take a look at the markdown import pod. we're actively making improvements to it. the end goal is to be able to import any sort of markdown into dendron using just the configuration options. if it isn't the case, let us know

What is the vscode command that performs the "search within current note" (shown as

in video’s keystrokes overlay. That command is not doing anything for me, but I have done some customizations over time, maybe removed that shortcut? If so what's the actual name of the command or menu item that performs that particular show/search? (Mentioned at 20:10 in )

Im wondering if anyone has examples of what they use the note lifecycle hooks for?

Personally I'm interested in hooks for synching to realm / mongodb. The reason for using mongodb though might be wrong headed: I want to publish my own "digital garden" with a set of technologies I know. I know Dendron has an API and they are working on doing something with nextjs, but apart from not really understanding what it is / will be, I also do not know how I would be using their API for my own stuff. Plus, I would like to implement some rather granular ACLs on my notes. While again it might be that the Dendrons are working on something like this, doing that with Realm will be easy for me.

I was thinking in something similar. I thought it could be fun to use hooks to write note json objects into kafka and have real-time replication and real-time stats.

nope. webviews communicate with vscode using the dom listener api so the aim is to have feature parity with the current tree view and also add additional features
