Hello - does anyone have any idea if there is a way to have todo items distributed across notes using " - [ ]" and then to have them display in a single document that consolidates all todos?

not exactly a single document but folks here use the "Todo Tree` extension for that a lot

it will consolidate all todos in the explorer pane

reproducible in portable dendron only dendron and and "dendron *" recommended extensions installed same issue with the

[[configuration|dendron.topic.publishing.configuration]]

now only Dendron with NO extensions still the same problem for the 2nd link

oha.. there is a difference between trying

ctrl-enter

(fails) and

F12

(works) which I've now observed on the standalone * both work for 1st link * but only

F12

for 2nd ?! so only

Dendron: Goto Node

fails but

Goto Definition

works?!

I can reproduce this. definitely not an expected behaviour.

(on my "normal messed up vscode" I've overloaded F12 with "Dendron: Goto Note" which explains that both keyboard shortcuts failed there

i've been able to reproduce this as well. looks like its an issue with how we get the link (https://github.com/dendronhq/dendron/blob/dev-kevin/packages/plugin-core/src/commands/GotoNote.ts#L51:L51) thanks for taking the time to repo and we'll be sure to get this patched up!

yeah, sorry, Friday afternoon & just got my second shot at lunch... brain not firing on all cylinders!

thought about paying GitHub the $4/month so I can have Dendron as a GH wiki, so it's a better mobile client (assuming I have a data signal)... but it assumes my dashes in wikilinks are spaces in filenames... seriously??? what the bleep?????

I like to use naming like book_title-author or course_title-professor (so using a . doesn't make sense)... maybe I should use ~ instead of - ???

you should be able to export to regular markdown and commit that as your github wiki mirror using the markdown pod

well, since this is just for me... I'd prefer to not have a mirror, just something I can read from anywhere, (and preferably also edit from anywhere)... right now I'm using GitJournal... but it escapes embedded html instead of rendering it, which is kind of annoying

GitHub strips out all my class & style attributes, which is also annoying, but given the choice, I'd rather deal with missing fonts & colors as the least disruptive options

Are you on Android or iOS? If you're on iOS, I just tried using an html element in a .md note in Editorial and it works correctly in the preview. (Specifically it was a element, which lets you fold sections of text away… sort of a default html accordion pattern.) So Editorial might also do the other html rendering you're after?
